Weddingbee bios

This was a little while agoe (we just had our first wedding anniversary!), but I decided to participate in the Wedding bee Bios post-a-thon :-). My lovely then fiance and I both have a lot of family overseas and were about to do a big move from LA to NYC when we got engaged. We tried for a little while to schedule everyone and it felt like it was so hard! It really seemed like we would have to wait for two years or more just to have us and both our sets of parents and sibblings together... So we decided to go to Vegas! We did an engagement party with all family and friends invited in Santa Barbara (no pressure for those far away, but some came even all the way from Brazil) and headed to Vegas and announced we were going to Vegas a couple of days later (just the two of us)! We wanted the whole fun cheesy experience, so we got a classic Elvis package :-) for something like $199. It was so personal and touching because it was just us... but also so much fun! After the wedding we walked around and celebrated by walking around Vegas and picking whatever bar/ restaurant we wanted.

Here a couple of shots that I took (even though it was my wedding I couldn't resit but take a couple of quick pictures at the venue and at our hotel room (I had to use a remote for some of them...)
