Hello Hello! We are currently in Spokane, WA but are both from very small towns about 1-2 hours North of here.
I work for Starbucks and he works for Fred Meyer. In Mr. Barista's spare time he plays video/computer games. I prefer to read or catch up with my friends online.
He's very quiet and doesn't like large crowds (he likes to stay home where it's quiet), while I on the other hand happen to be a very social person! I love to get out and meet new people.
So, my senior year of high school, my twin sister finally talked me into trying something other than Cheerleading. Normally I have no problem trying new things but in this case that new thing was joining the track team...I am not a runner.
I think it was probably our 3rd track meet when I met Mr. Barista. I still hadn't 100% decided for sure what my events would be, so in my down time I went over to watch my sister throw the javelin. Upon my arival to the javelin area I saw her talking to some really tall dorky kid from another school.
Once I greeted my sister he imeadiatly turned around and spoke to me in french. The only reason I knew what he said was because I had seen Moulin Rouge. That's right. He asked me to sleep with him.
Oddly enough, I could somehow tell he was joking and we became "track meet buddies." He wanted my number, but I thought it was safer to just give him my e-mail first.
Once we began to e-mail eachother and hang out at the track meets we both attended it was obvious that Mr. Barista was very different than how he had first appeared, and things progressed from there.
Mr. Barista's parents live on a very large farm out in the boonies. When we went up there in June 2009 to visit, I was sitting on the couch when he came in and asked if I would please go on a walk with him. After agreeing to the walk, it actualy turned out to be more like a hike. We climbed the steep path up to the mountain top. I had been up there once the year before and knew it had the most amazing view!!!! Only, once we got to the top, he wouldn't let me look! He made me turn around and look at the rock. I was somewhat annoyed-until he told me to turn around and he was on one knee with my ring in his hand and that gorgeous view behind him. = )

Above is June 18th, 2009 the day we got engaged! These were quick cell phone pics of us and the view behind him. = )

Oh, how I love our pictures! = D
Erin: My amazing twin sister. What more need I say?
Adrienne: The funniest woman ever! We are both so random...we've known each other since we were 3!
Sarah: I met her back when I lived in Washington. We car-pooled to work on several occasions, and had a pretty insane 4th of July last year! She's just as random as the rest of us! I love it!
Morgan: My FSIL. = ) She's very quiet until you get to know her. I can't wait to have her as a sister.
Josh: My FI's best friend since forever. He is a little odd, but awesome just the same!
Chris: Chris is the one who has decided to paten "tying the shoe in the Sprinkler" move from Morgan's wedding!
Darren: Our mutual friend from Portland!
Will: A friend of Ben's from work. As awesome as the rest!
Nevaeh: Ben's adorable Niece, will be our flower girl. When we get married she will be almost 3.
William Scott: My little little brother, he will be our Ring Bearer. He will be 3 when we are married.

I went with this cute dress for the ladies! The BM's wore Wine and my MOH wore Champaigne.
My adorable brother and neice walking down the asile!

Having the time with my BM's to relax that morning was so awesome! It was a blast! We used the "Regis Salon" in our local mall. Totally worth the $$$!
For make-up the girls and I went to "Ulta". And may I say, it was also totally worth the Money! If you are in the Spokane area, go to Northtown Squares and ask for Jessica!
My sister and I also made time to get our nails did. = )
I absolutely love our rings and how they "match" without matching.

I actually ended up wearing flats from payless because I couldn't find heels I liked enough to deal with in the grass.
Also, my little niece wore the cutest flats with her flower girl dress!
My MIL made my veil out of the lace from her old wedding dress. = )
I ordered my flowers from Growerbox.com and put them all together with the help of a few friends. Needless to say I know I could have made mine bigger (we had enough flowers) but I got so tired of taping them together!
Here is mine....my BM's were the same except theirs were the wine colored carnations with a few white ones. = )
I went cheap when it came to centerpieces and skimped on glowers. But I am so happy with how they turned out!
This is one of a few different looks I used:
Here is the chaos while working on them:

So, FI and I decided that we wanted to save money, and do they invites ourselves. We got 100 invites and response cards from Micheal's for only $36 USD. We were able to print them on the computer using the free templated from the website!

You can't tell because we used the scanner, but the paper is ivory with a gold border. To go with our theme, I used Burgundy wording. = )
By the time we got to my BIL's place we only had 15 minuets to get dressed! So it was a mad dash to the finish!

I will be the first to admit I am not happy with how our cake turned out. It's the one thing that I fought and fought with my MIL about....to the point where I was in tears. And she still went behind my back and created this:

The only thing I was happy with was the fact she used the right cake topper. = ( but at least I had my cheesecake and we are married!

I just had to share some pictures of our amazing friends!
