I met my fiance on E-Harmony. I had been on the service for about ten months when he contacted me. I was thinking about quitting E-Harmony at that time. We e-mailed each other for almost three months before we met in person. Our first date was a brunch that did not go very well. I thought he was extremely shy and was appalled that he was a nail biter. He thought I was a very closed off person. Somehow we both decided to give each other a second chance. We dated for several months and had some rocky times. But in August we decided to make it exclusive and by October we were thinking marriage. We were engaged in November 2008.
