Weddingbee bios

Mr. Starfish and I met line dancing! I used to go with a group of my girl friends and one night we noticed this guy that could dance (rare). Later on he came up and introduced himself to me and we ended up exchanging phone numbers and deciding to go out as a group later. About a week later we stayed up till 4 am talking next to his truck because neither of us wanted to say good night. We have been a couple since then. After being together just over a year  Mr. Starfish learned of an opportunity to persue his dream career as a full time firefighter/paramedic immediately... only hang up was that the job was 12 hours away in South Carolina. I had recently graduated college and had yet to obtain a full time job, so we visited for testing and looked at apartments. When the call came 3 weeks before he would have to begin work, it wasn't a question, I was going with him. The first 13 weeks were not easy, leaving everyone I knew and loved, my job, and being alone 13 hours a day 5 days a week while he worked hard to train for his job. In January he graduated top of his recruit class, and in February I finally got my dream job! Now we are both working crazy schedules and enjoying our jobs...but couldn't be more happy. Now there's just one more thing we both wanted. About a month ago Mr. Starfish took me for a walk on the beach (since we live here it isn't rare so I suspected nothing).  He took me to my favorite park and just before we walked onto the beach he asked me to marry him!!! I cannot wait for him to be my husband! We have decided to plan a beach wedding to make planning easier for us as we will be the ones paying for the majority of it and Mr. S wants to be involved. It also gives us the opportuinity to limit the guest list to close family and very close friends, we are really looking forward to an intimate wedding. We have just begun the journey of planning our wedding and all that comes with it good and stressful!
