Mr Neutrino and I met while I was on a date with one of his friends! There is this dance/ball at the Air Force Academy where my FI attended (apparently it is a pretty big deal for the cadets there) and MY highschool friend (his college friend) asked if I would attend with him, as his date. I said yes and bought a plane ticket to go to Colorado Springs where the Academy is :) At the dance itself.. this cute little Indian guy came up to us and my date introduced us.. we talked briefly (I joked around with him a bit/ insulted him about his heritage) and then went our different ways with our dates. When I came home to FL, my H.S. friend posted pictures of us from Ring Dance on FB and Mr. Neutrino decided to take the opportunity to insult me back because he wasn't quick enough to come up with a rebuttle when we were face to face. That one insult turned into a conversation, turned into my giving him my number and turned into being in contact 24/7. We were in an LDR for the last (a little over) year of his University career and still are for the moment while we plan for our 2012 wedding :)
my dress came in! (top) the bottom ones are from when I picked the dress :)
Hello bees,
I found my dress! I have always loved Vera Wang's style, even when I was a little girl. When I started learning about designers Vera Wang was at the top of my list, always. I always thought in the back of my mind that her designs must be extremely expensive and never thought it would be my reality, but a girl can dream no? Well fast forward into the present, I found, fell in love with, and bought the dress of my dreams and she happens to be a Vera. I honestly get to marry the man of my dreams in the dress of my dreams. She happens to be the same dress Kloe Kardashian wore down the aisle but looks very different on my body type. Yes, she was expensive..but worth it to me!

I know the look I am going for on my W day is something loose but up..formal but flowy :) These are the looks that inspire me :)
w my make up looks when I go out.. And I don't want to look very different for my wedding..I often get my make up professionally done and they always give me the same look and I always love it :)
My make-up look:
Smoky eyes
Faux lashes
matte face
natural lip
a little bit of magic :)

So my shoes came today in the mail! As some of you bees may already know, my FI is a tad shorter than I so I was on the hunt for some really cute flats! I found them when another bee posted them on here! I went right away to DSW and got them ON SALE FOR LIKE $50! I plan on putting a little shoe bling on it (one of the pics has a pair or ear-rings on them so I could see what the shoe would look like with some bling) :-D They are super cute and open-toe just like I wanted! They are just a tad bit big but VERY comfy!

Here are our save the dates! We had special pictures taken ( besides our engagment pics) just to get this shot! Our wedding is pretty formal and our E-pics will be the same, we took our STD opportunity to do something fun! We saw some other travel save the dates online and were very inspired by them! We also wanted to get some shots in Mr. Neutrino's ABUs because we will be taking our E-pics in his Service Dress and our wedding pics in his Mess Dress... ugh! Don't you just love a man in uniform!? :-D

Mr. Neutrino and I are set to be wed at the Air Force Academy Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 7th, 2012. It has a lot of meaning to us as a couple because it is where we met, fell in love, and spent most of the first year of our relationship. FI also graduated from the academy in 2010 :-)

Can't wait!

My dream cake! I love the modern look and feel :)
