I wanted to post here while it was all still fresh in my mind.
My wedding was so much more than I had ever even imagined it to be. I had searched many times looking for photos and information about Chase Palm Park Plaza, and any inside info I might be able to find that I decided after our wedding I would post as much as I could.
Our officiate was Judge Brian Hill of Santa Barbara, he provided the perfect mix of humor and seriousness to our ceremony. Judge Hill met with us twice before our event to get a better understanding of who we are, and to custom tailor his words to fit us.
Our ceremony and reception were being held in the same location which made me a little nervous about how we would transition between the two events, we had a "cocktail" hour (beer and wine) while we took about 40 minutes for photographs in the gorgeous surrounding of the park.
We were within a week of the wedding and still had not found a cake topper. We were at a local festival where vendors have booths and sell things when I came across a couple selling custom christmas ornamants, and they happend to make a bride and groom christmas oranament. they were adorable, but they didn't have one quite close enough to us (I'm a blonde and he has black hair) so they offered to make a custom cake topper! for around $20 (with-out shipping) they said we could pick it up just days before the wedding. It was ADORABLE
