T and I live in Columbus,Ohio. He works in the insurance industry and I do administrative workWe are parents to a one year old boy, who has been an amazing addition to our relationship. We clearly did things a little backwards. But we are planning a morning, outdoor wedding in our hometown of Gahanna, Ohio for 75 people in September 2009.
T and I actually went to high school together, not hanging out with each other, however, we were aware of who each other was. He was actually in the grade behind me. I was out a local bar one night, and I happened to run into him. He came back to my apartment, where we stayed up until 7 am just talking. We then just continued to talk over the phone and hanging out, and we eventually got together. Our first date was on Christmas Day, where we went to a movie, had a drink, and then the waffle house. I know, a really classy first date...but that's how it all began.
T never really proposed. It was more hey, you want to go to Vegas to celebrate Dennis's birthday, and get married while we are there?. That was my proposal, and this of course came after countless beers, and several basketball games. But he did say he really wanted to marry me the next day, in Vegas or in our backyard.
