My beautiful dress is from David's Bridal. I just stopped in there just to try on different styles to get a better feel of what I might like, but I ended up finding the perfect dress! My consultant was amazing and picked this out for me when I was just looking at more chiffon-like flowing dresses. And she found the one! My lovely dress is a ivory charmeuse gown with a champagne sash that has a bit of sparkly bling as well
. You can find it here on the website, though I like it much better in real life!

Here is the bridesmaid dress that my bridesmaids picked. They are from Ann Taylor's Wedding Collection in Cranberry Red. I gave them the option of choosing from 3 styles and they all picked the same one :-).

Here is the dress that my 3 Junior Bridesmaids/Flower Girls will wear, David's Bridal JB4062 in Pool Blue. They love the flowers along the top, and they will look so beautiful!

Just wanted to share reality vs. inspiration from our cherry red, aqua and champagne wedding!
Reality (***Wonderful pictures by Melissa Pauquette Photography***):

Initial inspiration of a red and aqua wedding:

Updated inspiration board as more things fell into place:

My jewelry is from the Ann Taylor Factory store and I love it! The bracelet originally came with a gray ribbon, but I ended up replacing it with ivory to match my dress a little better. It was so hard to choose either silver or gold jewelry but I think I made the right choice in the end :-)
Crystal hair brooch in gold to match my jewelry. It's the same shade of gold, despite looking different in the pictures!
My beautiful princess cut solitaire with my round-cut diamond wedding band
. FI did a perfect job picking out the engagement ring!
And my set with FI's two-tone wedding band. They look good together!
I was able to find my shoes in the clearance section at DSW for $15! AND it matches perfectly with my dress! As the wedding was in the summer, I was primarily searching for sandals, and I was happy to find these. The crystals match the crystal/sequin detailing on my dress and the champagne color matches the sash on my dress perfectly!

Bouquets were a struggle for me because I browsed through many different beautiful bouquets, but I couldn't decide on which flowers I loved in the right budget. In the end, I chose rose bouquets with some small accents and I'm so glad I did!
My bouquet was made of red roses with wax flowers and wrapped with aqua ribbon (I think the florist called it some sort of french braid style).

Bridesmaids had slightly smaller bouquets made of white roses wrapped in aqua ribbon.

The groom had a red rose boutonniere (he didn't want too many extraneous things) with aqua ribbon wrapped stem and the groomsmen/dads/junior groomsmen had white rose boutonnieres.

The moms had red corsages on their wrists.

Last but not least our flower girls carried pomanders made of white carnations and wax flowers. I'm pretty sure they loved them because by the end of the night, they all had some carnation flowers in their hair!

We ordered custom stamps from Zazzle for our invitations. We love our puppy (well she's not so little anymore) and we wanted a way to include her in our wedding!

My mother has connections with a bakery in Columbus (Golden Delight Bakery) so the choice for our cake was pretty easy
. Two of the tiers were light vanilla cake with fresh strawberry filling and the middle tier was chocolate cake with raspberry filling. All the tiers were then covered in light whipped cream. So delicious!
We also had a cake topper personally designed from Mudcards on Etsy based on our wedding looks (and we wanted to include our puppy as well!) and it looks so perfect! Unfortunately it was too heavy for the cake, but it worked out well I think
.

We're having our wedding in Columbus, Ohio and finally decided on a venue for our ceremony and reception. So excited! We'll be having an outdoor ceremony on the balcony and then have the reception indoors! Both FI and I wanted to have our wedding in Columbus as we both went to Ohio State and I grew up there.
