Weddingbee bios

I was born and raised in Virginia and have lived her all my live, with a three month stint in D.C. and another three month stint in Brussels. I have moved around from Williamsburg, Richmond, Arlington and now to Fairfax but think VA is the best place to live, plus its for lovers. : )   I work fulltime while writing my thesis for my Masters degree, planning a wedding, and fixing up a 50 year old house. So I have little free time, but if I did have free time I would hike, sail, travel, read, and spend time with friends.  I am a huge college basketball fan and March Madness is the most wonderful time of the year.

Mr. Fox is also a native Virginian and was born and raised in the Northern Virginia area. He works full time and coaches part time both Lacrosse and Basketball.  He is in charge of the house duties while I plan the wedding as arts and crafts are not really his thing.  However he is very good at negotiating with vendors so those tasks end up on his list often. 

We have been together for three years, engaged for one, and are very excited to get married.  We are having a smallish (100 people) wedding full of traditions as well as personal touches and hopefully lots of dancing!

We met at work.  Yes it is a bit of a cliché, but where else do you get to know someone without the pressure of traditional dating?  Mr. Fox walked into a meeting and I was smitten. Tall, dark and handsome he was everything that fit into my "type". He said he thought the same thing when he saw me.  We began to email about non-work related topics (movies, music, and travel) and began to realize that we had a lot in common.  Both of us were not interested in an office romance so safely remained friends.  Finally Mr. Fox decided to get a new job and we went on our first date his last week of work.  We have been together ever since (3 years) and will be married in 22 days!!!
