I don't know much of what is going on, but I do know that the colors are aqua and red. My wonderful maid of honor had someone design the invitations off of etsy.com and they turned out absolutely darling. <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/63739/shower_invitation2.jpg" /> I just ordered a dress from Victoria's Secret for the shower that I'm really excited about: <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/63739/shower_dress.jpg" /> I'm going to get some red high heels to go along with the color scheme of the party too. The only other thing I know is that my adorable bridesmaids are going to be dressed in vintage dresses from the 50s era and that I am going to be having a vintage hair style lol It will be fun, all of the girls have a love for vintage style so I know they'll pull it off very well. But I'm glad I ended up deciding to register at a few places because Mr. Mary Jane's aunts held a lovely shower in my honor on August 29, 2009. We enjoyed cake, salads, sandwiches, and ice-breaker games (including the TP wedding dress game)! I was floored by the amount of wonderful women who attended the shower. It was a ton of fun. Related Posts: <ul> <li><a href="http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/08/31/co-ed-girls-night/">About the shower</a></li> </ul> naangel55 on "A Princess Bachelorette Party" http://bios.weddingbee.com/topic/a-princess-bachelorette-party#post-1891 Tue, 25 Aug 2009 19:37:31 +0000 naangel55 1891@http://bios.weddingbee.com/ Its tradition in my DH's family that for each girl that gets married, his mom and her group of 3 friends plans the bachelorette party.  I did feel bad for my BM's because they wanted to be more involved and I was honestly worried it wouldnt be how I had envisioned it, but it turned out great!  I wanted a princess themed party, after I found a super cute princess party invitation.  I forwarded the info to my BM's who got them for me despite the fact they were a little on the expensive side.  I have the best BM's! <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/invite.JPG" /> My bridal shower was on Sunday, April 26th at my MIL's friends house.  The day started out with food...mmm...  I got my one of favorite meals my MIL cooks, a chicken taco salad.  I also requested garlic rolls she makes, they are delicious!!!  <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/shower1.jpg" /> They put so much hard work into it and even had a sparkly light up crown for me to wear, along with crowns for the little girls coming.  They even put crowns on top of the cheesecake dessert. <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/shower7.jpg" /> After the food, everyone played a game.  I am not into the typical bridal shower games, a la the toilet paper bride so we did one simple game, a crossword puzzle.  My SIL put together the crossword puzzle that had about 15 questions about me and my DH Some of the girls trying to finish the puzzle (and cheating by copying each others answers!) <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/shower3.jpg" /> After the game and food came opening the presents!  Yay!  I was overwhelmed by how many awesome gifts I got.  My DH was most excited about the vacuum cleaner, as we desperately needed one!  <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/shower8.jpg" /> <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/shower9.jpg" /> <img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/shower12.jpg" /> Throughout me opening presents, my MOH was hard at work putting together my RD bouquet<img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/shower10.jpg" /> Her hard work paid off with a result of a beautiful bouquet!<img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/shower13.jpg" /> Me and my cousins, aunts, Nanny and mom after the shower<img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/shower15.jpg" /> and me with my bridesmaids and MOH!<img src="http://bios.weddingbee.com/pics/24908/shower16.jpg" />
