Weddingbee bios

This is probably one of the oddest how we met stories ever, but this is how it all went down.  I was 22 years old doing my college internship at the local highschool, I've always looked pretty young for my age so when I asked to do my internship at my old highschool with the police they jumped at the chance knowing that the kids would think that I was one of them.  I walked through the halls several times and got harassed by a few of the teachers for not being in my class when I should have been, boy talk about an ego boost.  I spent most of my time however monitoring the cameras for suspicious activity etc... We had several drug dealers on campus and had to do several car searches, locker searches, etc...I LOVED doing these because not only did you get to potentially stop a kid from doing wrong, they were just really interesting to see how everything was handled and how the police test for marijuana etc... So one day I'm monitoring the camera and see this boy leaving campus and he is driving a cadillac, has braids in his hair and a grill in his mouth, profiling at its best I instantly think this kid is probably going to smoke something or something so I watch and once he leaves campus I let it go.  A few days later we see him in the hall and ask the security who is that are you sure he isn't into something, the police woman informed me she didn't think so because she didn't know his name and he played basketball for the school.  I then let my study of him go... until my friends called me some months later once school was out and asked did I want to go out for some drinks, I reluctantly said yes and stepped out with them.  We went to this local bar and pool hall and as I'm standing on the dance floor I hear someone whisper in my ear "don't I know you" I turn around and who is it, no other than the boy with the grill and braids.  I told him yes you do but please don't tell anyone in here who I am (this was not the most upstanding bar and I didn't want anyone in there to think that I was truly a police officer, because I'm not)  He laughed and said ok!  We went or separate ways and as the club closed I went to go to my friends car and I heard someone yelling hey hey can I talk to you for a second.  As the boy with the grill and braids approached me I said "what do you want"  he said can I please get your phone number so maybe I could call you sometime, I said ABSOLUTELY not you are a baby I'm in college and sooo sooo sophisticated lol he informed me that he wasn't a baby and was actually 19 but had a late birthday and was only finishing up a few classes when I was there doing my internship.  I made him show me his id ( what can I say that police stuff gets ingrained in you)  once I knew that he was indeed of legal age I gave him the number with no further thought that he would actually call and quite sure that once I informed him that I had two children both under the age of three that he would run for the hills.  He did however call that following week and asked if we could get together I told him all of the above and he told me that the very first day he saw me at the school he told his friend "man, who is the new girl I have to have her she is beautiful!" so none of the rest of the stuff mattered and here we are 8 years later I guess none of the other things really did matter after all :)

What a lovely story it goes to show that you can find love is the weirdest places. You never expected to find your mate in a school but you were open enough to allow him to approach and not feel that you were wasting your time.
