We met online and he is in the military and that comes with a host of issues but we have held it together through so much distance, injuries, delays with his coming home. I agree with you when you say that it must be God the put you two together.
It is exactly how we feel because we would not have met if it wasnt for God. I have never met a man that makes me feel like I am home for the first time in my life.

And Niasq he's about to go into the military so I will understand quite soon!
Wow! Congrats! And I, too am in an interracial relationship. My soon to be fiance is black and I am hispanic so I totally understand that some people just dont understand it. But you're right people will feel what they feel regardless. All that matters is what you two feel about each other and everyone else will learn. Much luck to the both of you! xoxo

Awwww what a lovely story. I too am in an interracial relationship. I'm white (and Jewish) and my fiance is Chinese. When the person is right for you, it doesn't really matter what their background is. As long as they are your best friend.

Have you ever met anyone and thought to yourself, this person is going to be in my life for a really long time, well thats what I felt when William Joesph Cairns became my bestfriend. We did everything together, ate breakfast, lunch and dinner when we could, I would tell him about my boyfriend issues and he would talk about his failed girlfriend troubles. We took naps together, studied together, texted each other all the time when we werent with each other, everyone thought we were going to get together we just didnt realize it. Will says that our minds just had to catch up with what our hearts already knew. When we first started dating it was a hard transition, i realized that now he complimented me and wanted to pay for a lot of stuff. I could no longer talk about guys to him like he was just a friend, but after a while our feelings grew so strong for each other that I knew nothing could tear us apart. I'm black and he is white, but for us there is nothing more beautiful than two people who care nothing about race falling in love, we have a bit of an issue currently because his grandmother has no clue that her grandson will be getting married in three months but it's okay because I have realized that people are going to feel how they feel no matter what
Being with will i have realized that I have to be patient and accept people for who they are, everyday i am learning more about him and the person he is turns me on so much: hes sexy, smart, loving, caring, funny, goofy, mature all at the same time. He is one of the more brillant people i have ever met and there must be a God because thats the only way we could have found each other. I love him to death and on March 9th 2013 i get to say that i am truely marrying my best friend.
I hope everyone can find that best friend that you cant live without. We all have someone out there :) :) :)
