My birthday is the second week of December so my mom, 2 sisters, and I go down to Disney world for the weekend. We all are abouluetly obsessed with the place, and go every chance we get. My bf and i were just there for a week over Halloween. All my co-workers and friends joked that L.J was going propose then. The week went by- no proposal. So back now a month and a half later, girls trip to disney. Only going to the magic kingdom Sunday night for the Mickey christmas party, the other two days we are just gonna roam the property. The whole weekend I had contact with L.J. He was at work for a lonng weekend and one of the co workers quit Friday so he had to pick up her Sunday day shift. Sunday morning approached and the girls all got up to shower and get ready for the day. I sent a text to L.J. asking if he had to work today and the was no respone. We mapped out what we were to do before being allowed in the park for the day at 4. Before we left the room I got a text back saying he had just woken up and had picked up the day shift at work for the coworker that quit so he was getting ready for that. He wished me a good day and hoped I had fun at the magic kingdom. We finally get to the magic kingdom at 4 and have some things mapped out to do cause some things closed after the party started. My mom was acting very odd on the whole trip, but me and my sister closest in age thought she was being a Disney nazi. We get out of doing carousel of progress and its finally dark out. My mom says that she wants to go see the castle. My sister and I where reluctant and wanting to go do more rides. She basically dragged us against are will being a "mean" mom to go take pictures. We get the front of the castle and get close and start taking pictures. By the third picture in all the sudden L.J. is standing right next to my mom. My heart drops down into my butt. I am so excited to see him that I'm not expectIng anything but he came and surprised me for my birthday. We start hugging and after a kiss he looks at me and asks "how much do you love me." I answer "a lot. Why." still clueless. Again "how much is a lot." Him fidgeting to get the ring box out of his short pocket. i finally realize what is happening and ask "omg, are you purposing!?!" He says "yes I'm purposing!" getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him. I said yes with much excitement. No tears- I think I was just so in shock the he was there and this was all happening. My sisters and mom got pictures and video of it all. He had asked my dad on thanksgiving for his blessing and had been planning with my mom all along and I had no idea. It was the best thing ever. I am very happy too spend my life with my love and my best friend! :)
