One very cold day my (Mary) little sister made me go ice skating (yes she made me), she brought me kicking and screaming because it was cold and the Jets were in the playoffs Wollman Rink was the last place I wanted to be. When we were there this cute guy caught my eye (yes the cute guy was David) and we spoke because I was telling him the score of te eJets game that I happened to be watching through a window. David kept walking around me and Evy, when Evy's friend who was another skate guard was around David made it a point to come over to speak to him. As we left for the night I thought I lost my chance but fate had something else in store because Evy's friend forgot to clock out, so we went back so he could clock out and who comes out with the friend but David. We spoke for a few minutes before David had to go to his other job, David took my number and we made a date to meet up later that week. Well David took my number down wrong (or I gave it to him wrong we will never know) but I thought he was blowing me off since he never gave me his number and he thought I just gave him the wrong number. We went on with our lives till the next week when my sister spoke to her friend who spoke to David and long story short everything was sorted out. This time I got his number and I txted him. We must have had about 3,000 txt messages to each other the 1st night and we made a date for a few days later and I just knew he was someone special.
Our relationship has grown so much over the years through the good the bad and the ugly we have made it through.
