Weddingbee Boards

We both like going out to eat and good food.  Since I was planning on moving home to Indianapolis (and my fiance!) in the next year, he suggested we have dinner at the top of the Hancock Tower in Chicago, just for fun.  My response?  Sure, but I can't tell my friends you're taking me there.  They'll think I'll come home engaged!  Of course I was joking, and plans were made.  That week, I freely made wedding cracks - not uncommon, since we have been dating on and off for 8 years and had been talking about getting married for some time.  Briefly before we left that Friday, I thought hm... I wonder?  But immediately dismissed the idea.  I literally laughed it off.  When we were almost done eating, he started going overboard telling me such sweet things - not unusual when he's been drinking!  He mentioned how he's known me for almost a decade, and he's loved me for 8 of those years.  Suddenly he was standing up... then down on one knee in front of me asking me to marry him!
