Me and my fiance have had a long distance relationship since May because I got a job a summer job in Montana and then returned to school in Maine in the fall while my fiance works in Ohio.
We're both super outdoorsy, so I flew to Ohio for the weekend so we could deer hunt together. I knew my fiance had gotten me an engagement ring but he said he didn't want to get enegaged until we moved in together in January.
One afternoon we were going out hunting together and as we got to our treestands I noticed he was acting really weird; like he was reluctant to get in the stand. He just kept hugging me and telling me how much he loved me! I was so confused until all of a sudden he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I started crying and said yes before he could even finish asking me, I was just so excited !
After finally calming down we got up in our tree stands and an hour later I harvested my buck! It was the best hour of my life and I can't wait to marry my best friend.
