I absolutely love the tie that you guys picked! You'll have to post pictures of the whole wedding party after.
posted by Mrs.Ester 4 months agoI had a purple wedding, and the groomsmen were all afraid of too much purple too! LOL....
Since silver/gray were my accent colors, I had them wear pewter with black on the tuxedos. I'm sure your groomsmen will love the ties. I think they are cool.

posted by Mrs.Ester 4 months agoThanks for the tip on tiebar.com I am sending this to my FI for him to find our ties. I'm doing shades of red, pink and purple so I was afraid of them wearing a girly color but I think purple isn't that bad!

I have to admit that I really hate tuxedos, and I never wanted my fiance or groomsmen to wear them, but especially so that our colors are dark purple and light pink. I knew that they would HATE being outfitted in those colors!
I think I'm a pretty easy bride. I'm not even making the guys get a suit. They are wearing black pants and a white long sleeved button down shirt. We're providing the ties for the guys, from the great site thetiebar.com. All the ties are $15, so you can't beat that pricing, especially if you have a large wedding party!
Jeremy picked out the ties that he and the groomsmen will wear, and I think he did a great job. I've always loved weddings where the guys wore striped ties! I think the guys will be able to tolerate this dark purple, without feeling it's too "girly".
Edit: We got these in and we're really impressed! The ties are 100% silk and feel and look really good. They arrived two business days after we ordered them!
