We met the spring of 2010, and there was an instand connection. We became good friends right away. Once we got each other's phone numbers we never went a day without texting. David asked me to be his girlfriend July 18th. We are seven years apart in age, so my mom wasn't really for it at first but after about a year she began to love him. On our two year anniversary he proposed to me at the zoo. It has always been one of my favorite places from my childhood, and we had also gone there on our one year anniversary.
Ever since, we have been planning. We are doing a rustic themed wedding, and having it at a big Victorian mansion with a gorgeous gazebo in the back. It is lovely, everything I was looking for. Our colors are white and various shades of blue. There will be plently of DIY! We will be including mason jars, gerbera dasies, lace, burlap, lots of candles, and a taco bar. I am so excited for our big day. I am marrying my best friend, and it is going to be perfect no matter what. :)
