Me and the FI have been dating for about four years when he popped the question during a NYE celebration at our local Main Street celebration as the ball dropped and fireworks were shooting into the air. We picked Aug 17th for our wedding date because it fits with our b-days and it would still be this summer (time to get this show on the road!).
We like to foster dogs through the local humane society and both grew up in the country. Both of us work long hours and our schedules make it necessary to plan date nights, etc. We love to travel but ususally do so in the form of cruises - hence the pic below from the bahamas.
Hoping to do a plain ol' down on the farm type wedding complete with cowboy boots and cows in the background. Well; at least I will be in boots - can't decide for him yet...
Looking forward to help and advice from fellow bees as I try to make this thing a reality in less then 9 months! EEP!
