Well he finally popped the question!! It took him some time (6 years later ) , but I wouldn't change it for anything ! He is my forever and I cannot wait to "jump the broom " with him .
So , everyone knows weddings can be expensive , so i have taken it upon myself to DIY alot of it . I have many talents so I might as well use them to my advantage , I will be making my wedding cake ( love baking and working with fondant , my birthday cakes are amazing I might add lol ) I'm a graphic artists so wedding invitations are going to be fun , and once i LOVE art projects?? flower bouquets , center pieces and chair decorations are going to be a breeze ( already have everything mapped out and arranged !!) For me ? that's the easy part. I even have the destination for the wedding narrowed down to two places, Atlanta Botannical Gardens or Chota Falls Atlanta Georgia. The hard part for me is the wedding dress , I don't want to have to give my first born as payment for my dress ( and my 24 year old daughter wouldn't go easy anyway ) , and I dont want a dress that looks like my son made it ( 23 and cannot even sew on a button !) See , he ( my fiance ) has his military dress uniform to wear so he's set and all he has to do is show up ( his words, trying to be funny ) so if I cannot find what I'm looking for at a price I can afford? it looks like I just might end up walking down the aisle in a glitter gold halter top and hot pink satin booty shorts ! Ahhh, my Mom would treasure that moment , and the wedding pictures would be ...interesting ?
So i am pleading for help on this matter , does anyone have any suggestions for my dilemma ? a website that has great reviews ? or places in Georgia ? $500 and under ??
