My fiance and I have been together for 3 years and the night of our engagement was better than I could have ever dreamed.
To give you a little idea about the logic behind his bold move to propose center court at the Orlando Magic game... I am a musician and perform all over. I have been involved in the Miss America Organization and have been the national anthem singer at many of the sports games in our area. I've opened for bands such as Dave Barnes, Marc Broussard, Anberlin and just LOVE sharing the gift of music.
My fiance is VERY shy and he shared the notion that he would have been equally as nervous to propose on a private beach, so why not go all out??? I see the gesture of taking that risk of proposing in front of an entire arena as the most romantic thing in the entire world! He made himself vulnerable and I am so proud of him!!! He is an engineer and is a pretty detailed planner. He even showed me a notebook of ideas he had just devoted to the big proposal!
The last piece to the puzzle is that my family lives up north and wasn't able to obviously be there for the special day, so he chose something that was able to be captured on video. This way, we could share it with all of our loved ones who couldn't attend the Magic game that night!
I adore the person that I get to spend the rest of my life with and I hope you love the YouTube video that we've uploaded! And now my username "SoInLove24" may make a little more sense to you <3 Thanks for letting me share my story, fellow wedding bees!!!
PS - It's a 2K Tacori engagement ring, so not only a perfect proposal but a perfect RING!!!!
