Here is the finished product of the Country Chic Cake I had made by Grandough Baking Company. This is a 1/2 Bride Cake 1/2 Groom Cake.
The Inspiration (not made by the same company):
The company inspiration for each side (company had made both sides previously, and separately):
The info: I wanted the bridal side of the cake to include the white with a lace detailing. The middle portion was supposed to include the beautiful flowers and silver beads. The groom's side was to include the bandana, and overlap on each layer.
The inside had layers of Red Velvet and Italian Cream.
The negative: The boots were supposed to be wrapped with the flowers, the flowers were supposed to be larger (like the inspiration cake they had made), and they didn't have the silver beads.
The positive: As far as the inspiration goes, it went just how I wanted it to go.. it was something the company had not done before, so I think I gave them a good challenge.
