I started looking in bridal magazines and online and had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted. A-line, not too poofy and lace. I went shopping for fun with my mom, MIL to be and my grandma and found THE dress. Not really what I thought I wanted. I saw ballgowns and thought they were very pretty but I thought the A-line lace gowns were prettier and more me. A-line after A-line and I just didn't like the way they fit me. So I had my family pull a few dresses for me as well as the consultant and they all pulled ballgowns and wouldn't you know it. Ballgown after ballgown and I was loving them. I ended up buying my gown from Dominique Levesque in Ottawa. Love the ladies there. Very helpful and listen. MIL to be can be a little challenging and the consultant would say "ok everyone, no comments, and ask how I felt about the dresses first. Absolutely awesome experience. I also had a great experience at Sinders in Carleton Place. It ended up being between Maggie Sottero, Priscilla (at Sinders) and the one I got. I found the Priscilla very heavy. Anyway here is my dress and veil. Absolutely love my princess gown!
