My best friend lives in utah, we're in New Zealand, I was a bridesmaid at her wedding. So off I went to utah, leaving my love behind (couldnt afford to send both of us). The moment I left to head off to the airport he relialised how much he missed me, so he took himself off to buy an engagement ring! He asked my parent permission and surpised me by picking me up at the airport, we got home and I was just dozing on the couch exhusted from jet lag, he walked into our bedroom and came back, and asked me to sit up, then got down and one knee and asked me to marry him! I thought he was joking! He had the most perfect ring ever and all I could say was"what!". I asked him if he was for real! he had to ask me if it was a yes, which it was of course!Then I started shaking and crying! The ring was to small, but he had bought me another tempory ring to wear while my real ring got resized! I hadnt guessed he would ask me at all!
